We hold to a plural elder-congregational form of church government with a serving diaconate. Covenant Baptist Church Santa Clarita Valley (CBCSCV) derives its authority to exist and function from its head, our Lord Jesus Christ. This authority is mediated through the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments ministered to the church by its elder(s). CBCSCV elects its own officers and carries out its own discipline.
